The Ozark
Main Street Program is a non-profit organization dedicated
to the preservation and revitalization of Ozark’s downtown community.
The program uses historic preservation as the integral foundation for
combating physical and social deterioration of Ozark’s historic
downtown, thereby creating an environment that is clean, safe, and conducive
to commercial and public use.
The Ozark
Main Street Program works within a framework of professional
revitalization approaches including design plans, promotion of assets
and events, and economic restructuring to enhance the economic health
and social well being of Ozark’s downtown while preserving architectural
integrity, sense of place, and historic and cultural identity.
The Ozark
Main Street Program is partially funded by the Missouri Neighborhood
Assistance Program (NAP) and the Missouri Arts Council (MAC).
